What is the official name of the CFL team that plays in Vancouver? Our article implies that it is just BC Lions, but never says so specifically. Is it BC Lions or B.C. Lions or British Columbia Lions? Has it always been so? Thank you. → Michael J Ⓣ Ⓒ Ⓜ 04:39, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- On the official site, David Braley is listed as the "Owner, BC Lions Football Club". The CFL site also calls the team the "BC Lions". The Yellow Pages has a phone no. for the "BC Lions Football Club Inc". Clarityfiend (talk) 05:34, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, I've grown up on Lions football, many family members have or have had season's tickets, and none of us have ever heard it called anything other than "BC". But that's generally true for the province's name in most cases anyway. "British Columbia" is a mouthful to say, so we residents almost always abbreviate it. Ventriloquist with speaking dog[edit]
Could you list me ventriloquists who have performed with a trained live dog, acting as if the dog could speak? I have found two so far.
- Todd Oliver performed on America's Got Talent in 2012.
- Saveen performed in the 1950s and 1960s.

- Hmm. I'm pretty sure Julian Clary isn't a ventriloquist, but he had his dog (Fanny the Wonder Dog) trained so that it looked as if she was having a conversation with him in his act The Joan Collins Fan Club. --TammyMoet (talk) 19:07, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
