Actually, at that time they were. During the first decade of the 20th century, the Cubs were the hottest team in baseball, appearing in 4 and winning 2 World Series in the decade (as much or more than any other team). The Tinkers to Evers to Chance infield is considered one of the best in the history of the game, and they dominated the sport at the time. The Phillies, on the other hand, did really suck then, and would continue to suck for 70 more years. --Jayron32 17:09, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That is true. I exaggerate. Those Cubs (who were also still being called Colts) were a young team building toward some real glory.
