Not listed at target page, and appears to be an implausible nickname-spelling with the CamelCase at that. Utopes (talk / cont) 22:48, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete This is a closer case than some negative nicknames. It exists more on the Internet than many and even was published, as an opinion piece, in Vogue [1] (albeit a modified version of this.) Ultimately, I don't think it's common enough to be a useful enough search term to overcome WP:RFD#DELETE#3 and, to me less important, fact it isn't mentioned and I don't think is due to mention. Skynxnex (talk) 12:38, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No evidence this channel has been referred to as National Geographic Channel HD Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 21:49, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak Keep as the "HD" may still be included in a plausible search term. National Geographic channels do have HD versions, including the Australian version. The disambiguator of "(Australian TV)" solidifies the mentioned article as the only target this redirect could refer to. Even if the exact title doesn't include "HD" in that position, some readers may type it in anyway. Utopes (talk / cont) 03:03, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The section no longer exists on the target page. I'm guessing it was moved somewhere else at some point since the content was merged in 2006, and this should be retargetted to that location but I've failed to find where that is and I've run out of time to keep looking. Origin of birds would be a more useful target for this term. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 13:20, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, avian dinosaurs is another name for birds, which is where this redirect appropriately goes. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:46, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note bundling the singular, as it should probably be treated the same as the plural. Mdewman6 (talk) 18:32, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Randy Kryn. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 20:12, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. While it's true that "bird" and "avian dinosaur" are (generally*) synonyms, the latter is a much less common name so searching it may suggest the reader expects something more specific; Origin of birds and Evolution of birds are arguably more helpful in that they emphasise the dinosaurs aspect of the topic. However, retargeting to them might be misleading in that someone may interpret it as implying that "avian dinosaurs" only refers to dinosaur ancestors of birds rather than to birds themselves, when in-fact birds are avian dinosaurs.
Even if someone were searching "avian dinosaurs" rather than "birds" to emphasise the evolution of birds among the dinosaurs, they would stll find information about that at the current target and links to further information at both Origin of birds and Evolution of birds linked prominently with {{main}}. I think it's better to avoid a misunderstanding than to save a single click for readers not satisfied with the summary at Bird. I wouldn't object to refining the target to Bird § Evolution and classification if others feel it's warranted.
(*"Generally", because "avian dinosaurs" is sometimes used in sensu lato to refer other Avialae genera like Archaeopteryx; those use it that way also use "bird" in the same broad way. Strictly speaking, these genera are referred to as "avialan" or "paravian" rather than "avian" (that is, "bird"). It's better to stick to sensu stricto for the target, since I don't think the alternatives actually explain the distinction between sensu lato and sensu stricto so going with the broader meaning would confuse more than help.)Scyrme (talk)

The result of the discussion was delete. plicit 14:22, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A potentially vague rcat redirect - a redirect that includes a profession may not necessarily be a redirect from an unnecessary disambiguation, and could plausibly be a better fit for a different disambig rcat template. I propose deletion as potentially confusing. (I had a quick look to see if there was a more appropriate target, but I couldn’t find one. I may have missed something though.) A potentially vague rcat redirect - a suffix in this case could also plausibly refer to a redirect from a non-unnecessary disambiguation, for which one of the other disambiguation rcat templates would be more accurate. I propose deletion as a potentially confusing rcat redirect. All the best, user:A smart kittenmeow 11:54, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Calculated Risk. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 04:37, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Calculated risk" may have a similar definition to Risk appetite, but I don't think these two are synonyms. User:Coolclawcat did well with adding hatnotes to the disambiguation page for ease of access. But, I do think possibly retargeting this to Calculated Risk (the disambiguation page) may be the right play rather than the article which is somewhat close to the definition. The redirect creator makes a good point about the WP:DIFFCAPS and the existence of "Calculated risk" as a search term, but for a two word title with multiple potential targets at the DAB page, I don't think the capital letters are an important, identifying aspect of the film / blog / novels that warrant the targets to be separate here. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:52, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect title without a space between the title and disambiguation. Delete per WP:RDAB. Valid redirect at Stargirl (season 1) so nothing is lost. Gonnym (talk) 07:29, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep/move Stargirl(season 1) has history (an attempt to make a full article of season 1; which shows up in earwig as potential copyvio but my first glance is the sources it's finding copied Wikipedia). So, correct solution is probably to move Stargirl(season 1) to Stargirl (season 1), overwriting that single revision redirect, and tag with Template:R with history. • Reiterating, again, that disambiguation pages for disambiguating topics which have the same name. They're not for listings of titles with parts of the same name nor for manual compilations of search results for similar titles. A disambiguation page for "slippy" would have at most two entries based on this discussion, as neither slippy map nor either of the "Slippy McGee" films are topics named "slippy". Such a page would fail WP:ONEOTHER since Slippy (DJ) is just a redirect to a list entry. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:44, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • If you look up "Slippy" on Google Images, you receive exclusively pictures of Slippy Toad. I still think at the end of the day, Slippy Toad (who goes by Slippy in nearly every occasion) is the primary topic here over the dictionary definition. If someone wanted to look up the word slippy as it refers to slipperiness by typing in a particular vernacular's name-concatenation, they'd probably check a dictionary before an encyclopedia. If there's not enough topics to warrant a disambiguation page (even with Slippi, one letter off), I'd say Keep with hatnote instead. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:22, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. The Star Fox character seems a valid target for a primary redirect. Not convinced people looking up "slipperiness" would try to do so via slippy, and that's a very questionable DICDEF of a page with single-digit daily views anyway that should possibly be merged somewhere else. Wikipedia is not a dictionary, etc., so "Slippy" in an encyclopedia context is less likely to refer to the dictionary meaning. SnowFire (talk) 00:12, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This nomination includes a bundle of recently created Minecraft mobs that are mentioned zero to one-ish times at the target page. Most are zero, but this list also includes redirects such as Cow (Minecraft) which in my opinion is not going to add a lot of valuable content for readers, because "cow" is only mentioned once in passing, and we don't have Cow (game) for every game that includes a cow in it in some capacity. Utopes (talk / cont) 05:31, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete all per not being mentioned in the article in any significant manner, nor is there any potential for that without failing to be gamecruft. The disambiguated terms are commomn words and unlikely search terms. —  HELLKNOWZ  TALK 08:34, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Kibi" and "Mebi" seems to be prefixes associated with bits and bytes, as a prefix for these binaries. "Kibiyear" and "Mebiyear" I believe to be implausible search terms for that reason, and feels like it could be a WP:PANDORA that isn't worth exploring. Utopes (talk / cont) 05:10, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete all. These prefixes are hardly ever used except with bit and byte. Jc3s5h (talk) 13:41, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both per the above and because searching for kibiyear or mebiyear reveals that neither word is mentioned anywhere else on English Wikipedia (and they are barely even attested on the internet in general according to a google search). Duckmather (talk) 15:12, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
