Excessively vague and based on a false political myth. Partofthemachine (talk) 22:49, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as too vague, the reader might be looking for underfunded public schools globally. I could not find any suitable retargets. Roostery123 (talk) 02:03, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not discussed at the target dab page, and different from benzodiazepine.

  • Delete per WP:REDYES to encourage article creation. The best redirect target would seem to be Clozapine, but I agree we should redirect a class of compounds to a specific example, unless the class was more broadly discussed there. So delete to encourage article creation. The stub in the page history isn't worth saving and would not be restored at Afd. Another option to consider would be a soft redirect to wiktionary, but I think straight deletion is the better choice here. Mdewman6 (talk) 22:13, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Shaftsbury (disambiguation)[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Shaftesbury (disambiguation). plicit 23:43, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(Note the spelling Shaftsbury vs Shaftesbury). Should this be deleted because the target (the only article title with this spelling) is not a disambiguation page, or is it more helpful to retarget it to Shaftesbury (disambiguation)? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 20:31, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to List of rivers of Chile (A–C). Jay 💬 18:34, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is the Spanish for underpants, but I see no reason why English Wikipedia should have this as a redirect. BarleyButt (talk) 18:06, 13 November 2022 (UTC) WP:STRIKESOCK Clyde!Franklin! 04:22, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Joy Harjo#Poetic works. Jay 💬 18:32, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No explanation at target why this should redirect there. BarleyButt (talk) 18:04, 13 November 2022 (UTC) WP:STRIKESOCK Clyde!Franklin! 04:23, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's a poem by the subject who is a Poet Laureate of the United States which is listed in the Poetic works section. Skyerise (talk) 18:26, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Jay 💬 15:44, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Similar to previous deletion requests for redirects to Eurovision-related articles (see here and here), bot-created redirects for article titles with diacritics but related to titles in languages where the diacritic replacement characters make zero sense in those languages' syntaxes. Suggest deletion as in the previous cases; other redirects with more likely character replacement combinations already exist for these articles. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 15:44, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. These titles with diacritic substitutions were never used in practice and are therefore unhelpful redirects. Grk1011 (talk) 01:18, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Parisoma[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete the disambiguated entry, and point the others to Curruca. There was no opinion on the hatnote suggestion, so a separate discussion may be had at the related talk pages.. Jay 💬 11:14, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's unhelpful to have Parisoma and Parisoma (genus) point to different articles. My suggestion here - but I'm not an expert - is to have them both point to one article, and use a hatnote to refer to the other, and delete the disambiguation redirect. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:32, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget I agree. They should redir to the taxonomy section of one of the two current targets, neither of which explains how much of Sylvia or Curruca was covered by Parisoma, so they'd need some work. - UtherSRG (talk) 20:01, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Curruca and delete the one with (disambiguation). According to Wikispecies, the type species of Parisoma is included in Curruca, which would make Parisoma a synonym of Curruca. It would be good to have a better source than Wikispecies for the type species, but I'm having trouble finding one. Plantdrew (talk) 17:19, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Curruca and delete the one with (disambiguation). Parisoma was erected as a subgenus by Swainson in 1831 (see original description in BHL here) with Le Grignet Vieillot, 1817 given as the type species (see also the original report from Levaillant here and Vieillot's description here). This name corresponds to Sylvia subcaerulea (Vieillot, 1817), a species that has since been reclassified as Curruca subcoerulea. A ref for the synonymy of the subgenus name Curruca (Parisoma) to Curruca is provided on Avibase (here). Loopy30 (talk)
  • Keep, Retarget to Curruca, WP:G14. Retarget for consistency, and G14 due to ending in (disambiguation) but being a redirect. I thought (disambiguation) redirects with history were exempt from G14, but I guess not. — Clyde!Franklin! 04:20, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
