Ang Galing Pinoy (AGP) is a political party that used to participate in party-list elections in the Philippines. It's quite malicious to suggest that it is connected to Lakas-CMD. AGP isn't even discussed in the Lakas-CMD article. Howard the Duck (talk) 19:19, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible name for DOSBox. Dominicmgm (talk) 18:32, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment These letters do stand for Disk, Operating, or System, so I don't see it as implausible. If I'm going to !vote keep or delete, it'll take a while to respond. OcelotCreeper (talk) 19:02, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as I don't see why someone would try to create such word formation. Throughout the whole existence, they pretty much got no views and those few could be easily generated by someone going through all redirects or something.—K4rolB (talk) 17:12, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment I can see DiskOperatingSystemBox being plausible, but I nominated the rest because who would use the full name for a random letter and abbreviate the others? Dominicmgm (talk) 17:36, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

University of Australia[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to List of universities in Australia. Hog Farm Talk 03:43, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Never heard ANU is refer as "University of Australia". People may want to seek the article List of universities in Australia instead of ANU. Matthew hk (talk) 17:50, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget, as suggested. Never heard of ANU being referred to by this term, and it can be found in the list. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 01:53, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Koopa Bros.[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 21:41, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Somewhat unclear and vague term. There is a set of Koopa Bros. in Paper Mario, but there are also the Koopalings. I feel that it should probably deleted as having no obvious target. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 16:23, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Generic character name mentioned only in passing at Paper Mario (video game). –LaundryPizza03 (d) 16:54, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment All of these nomination rationales and targets are the same. Please merge them into one discussion. OcelotCreeper (talk) 18:07, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's better to discuss these separately in small groups related to each character. If you merge them into one mega-nomination all it takes is for someone to find a couple of redirects that could be retargeted or disambiguated and it very quickly turns into a trainwreck. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 18:10, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • Maybe then it would've been better to make 5-6 bundles of 3-5, as it clogs RfD less than 15 different nominations, while having each bundle limited enough to prevent a trainwreck. OcelotCreeper (talk) 19:09, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
        • @OcelotCreeper: I merged some similar names into single nominations, that should probably address the issue.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 09:50, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fancruft; not mentioned in target page nor the page of the first Paper Mario game. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 16:21, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Struck vote - I voted on one of these nominations before they were merged - I did not vote on most of the redirects here. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 10:55, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I assume that they are all the same situation. None are mentioned in the encyclopedia. Is there any of them that would be an exception that would invalidate the vote?ZXCVBNM (TALK) 07:52, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
They may very well all be in the same situation, but I normally like to do an internal project search, a google/google books/google news search and a check through the page history before I vote for deletion to see if there's anywhere else these could be retargeted to or if they're common synonyms of if there's article content in the page history that's worth keeping. I only checked one of these redirects and did not express an opinion on the other 4 so my vote should not have been copied to redirects I did not look at. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 11:53, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Appears to be fancruft, as the character does not appear on the Paper Mario game page (although Goombario indeed does). ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:59, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non traditional means of disambiguation makes it unlikely people will be using this redirect to search when Watt (Paper Mario) exists. It claims it is a redirect with history, but the history is extremely slight. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:52, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bow the Boo[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 21:39, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The character is usually referred to as "Lady Bow" or just "Bow". "Bow the Boo" is a non traditional way of naming the character that would likely not be used by people to search. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:48, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unless I'm missing something this is a completely implausible typo - half of "game" is missing, as is "of" and for some reason what's left of the first word is in block capitals. This was created by a blocked sock puppeteer who focused on games of thrones episodes and the good article process, so it might be intended to be "Good article thrones", which is also completely implausible as a search term. Across the entire internet I have only I found 1 usage of this typo, in a blog, and it doesn't use the weird capitalisation. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 14:14, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 17:23, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This was CSDed A10 on this title. It was then moved to Robert Kyagulanyi which is a plausible redirect to Bobi Wine. However, Torture of robert kyagulanyi campaign trail (which remains from the initial creation), is not a plausible redirect and should be deleted. Auktion[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 17:23, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WP:RLOTE. No connection between auctions and the German language. I'm fairly sure this is also pointing to the wrong place and should be targeting the general article at auction. The sole incoming article space link appears to be intended to target a band. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 11:18, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WP:RLOTE. Nothing French about navigation. All four incoming links to this redirect are being taken to the wrong place, two are supposed to be pointing to the sportswear brand, two are supposed to be pointing to a cycling team. Mass created with a script. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 11:12, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WP:RLOTE. Nothing particularly French/German about Cosmology. I'm 99% sure these are also pointing to the wrong place, and should be targeting the general article on Cosmology. Mass created by a user using an unauthorised bot/script to make dozens of redirects a minute. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 11:01, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The wavelength of visible light in angstroms does not seem to be a plausible way of searching for the article on light to me and seems rather ambiguous. Almost all the results I get searching for this phrase are related to emission spectra for various molecules, rather than articles on light itself. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 10:46, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A rather generic phrase that does not seem to be particularly strongly associated with IBM and is not mentioned in the target article. While IBM does run a program called "IBM EPIC" which uses this name we don't seem to have any information on it anywhere. The article in the page history was merged to the main IBM article after a Votes for Deletion nomination, but has been edited out over the last 15 years. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 10:21, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Both redirects probably need to be deleted as they were created by the now blocked user, Hassanjunoir999, in a series of meaningless page moves, most of which have now been reverted by admins. Other examples included Kerem Bürsin to Kerem Dustbin, Büşra Develi to Büşra Devil, Hande Erçel to Madarchod Erçel, and Jai Hind to Gay Hind (currently nominated for deletion).
