I corrected the formation of this redirect, then realized the reference to him in the target didn't even belong there, and, if he's really a senior political advisor, then something would turn up about him via Google. But there's nothing. This is really the redirect equivalent of a hoax. Largoplazo (talk) 23:37, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The target article is unclear on what "base" is meant to refer. Whatever a reader is looking for when searching this term will not be found in the target article. Steel1943 (talk) 19:37, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in article and has no relevance to the term. KingAndGod 14:32, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete unless we can find a decent target for merging the former article. Unfortunately all the names in that article are redlinks or mislinks, and Wikipedia has no information about this company anywhere else besides trivial mentions, so we have nowhere to send readers. Also, the AFD had no consensus for this redirect. The nominator there suggested "A redirect to an article on early American rave culture (esp. in the Midwest or Chicago) could work", but not the worldwide topic overview rave. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 15:05, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
How was the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Drop Bass Network a no consensus when it was "delete/redirect", followed by two "delete" votes? That sounds like a delete to me. So I will vote Delete for this one. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:51, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The AFD had no consensus for this redirect, i.e. no one endorsed redirecting this to rave. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 01:53, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Withdrawn. ~ Amory (utc) 10:59, 18 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's not clear to me (not a chemist) why Association redirects to Dissociation, where it isn't mentioned. Is Chemical bond a better target? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:34, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dissociation is usually a reversible process. The opposite of dissociation is association, although Dissociation (chemistry) uses term "recombination", a word have haven't encountered in this context, instead. I think the chemical term "association" is tied very closely with "dissociation" and therefore the redirect makes sense to me. I'll go add the term to the article now. Chemical bond wouldn't be a bad or wrong alternative target, but I think the status quo is best. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:11, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In chemistry, association and dissociation processes are very closely related to each other. In particular, the equation for any equilibrium association process can be written Reactants⇔Products. The same system can equally well be described as a dissociation process, Products⇔Reactants. Hence there is no point in having separate WP articles for association and dissociation in chemistry. Fisa warrant

The result of the discussion was keep. ~ Amory (utc) 01:37, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Useless spelling variant, as we already have the correct FISA warrant. — JFG talk 10:13, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - Perfectly acceptable redirect - Also if someone needs to add the target article and they don't type it in caps that could pose a problem so in that respect the lowercase variant is useful. –Davey2010Talk 20:31, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep More than just acceptable. British English often writes acronyms thus when they're pronounced as a single word, like FISA is (e.g., this Guardian article about "Ukip"). Deletion would be pointless. --BDD (talk) 14:27, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. This is a redirect left after a page I moved to the correct title. "Britannia Clothing Company" and "Brittania Sportswear Ltd" are different spellings, and different things. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:02, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discuss the legitimacy of this redirect, please. As the article makes no reference to it, I don't feel it necessary as seems to just be an internet meme-type nickname given to him a couple months ago. — Moe Epsilon 06:20, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination quasi for an IP; doesn't appear to be a part of California_State_Route_187; only intersects it ? Mentioned in a lots of places on wikipedia so WP:XY I reckon, could also be redlink deletion; not sure on notability of roads etc though Galobtter (pingó mió) 05:50, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
