No sign that this is the target's name. Delete. — Gorthian (talk) 23:46, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

On the evidence provided by Thryduulf, I've edited the article to show his full name as "Leslie Parsons" and I'm withdrawing this nomination. — Gorthian (talk) 23:38, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. The article gives the subject's name as "Les" which is almost certainly short for Leslie and this 1980 newspaper article includes "Vancouver's Leslie Parsons attempts to take ball from Joey Clarke". There is no indication I can find of anyone else with a similar name playing for Vancouver in 1980. Thryduulf (talk) 10:32, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Thryduulf: I'd like to add a citation for his full name; I can't see your article because I don't have a subscription. Could you add a cite to Buzz Parsons? — Gorthian (talk) 23:38, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Gorthian: I don't have a subscription either but from the OCR snippet and zoom I've got the following citation: <ref name="LATimes1980">{{cite news|url=https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/170514386/|title=NASL Playoffs: The Second Season|date=August 26, 1980|work=The Los Angeles Times|page=149|quote=Vancouver's Leslie Parsons attempts to take ball from Joey Clarke|accessdate=22 February 2017}}</ref>. I've put it here as I'm not sure where you want it in the article or how to correctly format a name with a short form and separate nickname. Thryduulf (talk) 00:01, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
        • Thanks, Thryduulf! I'm adding it to the infobox, where it has a place for "full name". — Gorthian (talk) 00:33, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete as unopposed. Deryck C. 16:50, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A case of a mistaken name; the article was moved to the correct name Bruno Lauer nine years ago. No mention of this name is in the target, and I cannot find anyone on Wikipedia by this name. Delete. — Gorthian (talk) 23:43, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The beginning apostrophe seems like an unlikely typo. — Gorthian (talk) 23:13, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect that was created after an AfD about the original dab page was closed as "delete". In the AfD discussion, this redirect was proposed but objected to because there were no sources supporting the use of the term in the target article. — Gorthian (talk) 22:15, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. I asked for WP:RS evidence for this usage in the AfD. None has been provided: "common usage in police drama television shows" (see the target article) doesn't cut it, and is WP:OR. Narky Blert (talk) 00:55, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete could be connected to acting credit roles like Soldier A. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:37, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • @AngusWOOF: - it has been. I found the original DAB page because there was a link to it from someone who had been "Man 2" in a stage play. Narky Blert (talk) 12:51, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Streetlight Social[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. Deryck C. 16:48, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. The redirect is broken (the target section no longer exists although the page does). Streetlight Social is not mentioned on the target page. The redirect has a trivial edit history. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:36, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. There appears to be exactly zero instances of "Streetlight Social" (other than this redirect and discussions of it) on Wikipedia. Thryduulf (talk) 13:36, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:47, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
