- Earth (Ace Combat) → Ace Combat (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
This is as painfully generic a redirect as you can get. You might as well have an "Earth (X game series)" for literally every game that takes place on some version of Earth. Strangereal makes sense as a redirect, as it is a term specific to the game's parallel universe, but this does not. The majority of fans refer to the world as "Strangereal" and this hardly gets any hits.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 20:32, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete this is confusing. Is there a video game title that goes solely by Earth in the Ace Combat series? Or a video game character named Earth? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:13, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- No, it refers to, literally, Earth, the setting of the games.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 01:55, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- A lot of similar redirects can be found here, but those all point to articles describing the role of Earth in those works. In particular, most point to the corresponding sections of Earth in science fiction. I’d suggest keeping this redirect because, as noted in the section Ace Combat#Setting, the version of Earth in this game differs substantially from the real Earth. 165.91.12.6 (talk) 00:57, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
- IMO, all of those other redirects are equally unnecessary. There is no purpose to them, search wise, they get few if any page views, and Earth in science fiction is unadulterated fancruft with no encyclopedic merit.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 02:52, 14 December 2017 (UTC)

- Delete This makes about as much sense as "Dog (Three Men in a Boat) -> Three Men in a Boat". No one in their right mind is going to use that search term. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:27, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

- These are my testing supplies → Glucose meter (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

- Just stumbled over that, still scratching my head... delete. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 18:25, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- The creator, Damian Yerrick, explains that it is a “catchphrase from Liberty Medical commercials, referring to test strips for a ... [g]lucose meter”. Since Glucose meter does not mention this, suggest retarget to Liberty Medical or delete. 108.210.217.62 (talk) 20:16, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- I wouldn't object to retargeting to Liberty Medical. --Damian Yerrick (talk) 23:47, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete or Weak Retarget to Liberty Medical. It seems that the phrase is just a short-lived meme according to the hits I got from Google. --Lenticel (talk) 00:50, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete until notable coverage is provided, compare to diabeetus [1] [2] [3] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:56, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Weak Delete/Comment: This should of course not be retargeted until it has a clear, reliably-cited mention in the target article. Some cursory (and admittedly sloppy) searching suggests that finding reliable sources is probably difficult, thus the weak delete. (Digression: "Diabeetus" is mentioned in Liberty Medical#Advertising. Why does it not redirect there?) --SoledadKabocha (talk) 04:31, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTABILITY, in addition to this also unsourced/bad source --Treetear (talk) 19:47, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

WP:NOTCENSORED. 7 or 9 *’s is too many to count. These are the only questionable redirects beginning with ***, except possibly ****: Live in Phoenix. Unfortunately, Google will not parse strings of asterisks. 108.210.218.199 (talk) 04:55, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was delete "trumo" and keep "donal". Killiondude (talk) 07:46, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
- Donald Trumo → Donald Trump (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Donal Trump → Donald Trump (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Despite what the creator of the first redirect claims, these are not plausible typos. How about Donald Trum; or Donald Trum, which are equally implausible? 108.210.218.199 (talk) 04:38, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. When you type 'Do' into the search bar, Trump is the first result. Google is smart enough to figure both of these out. No reason to exist. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 17:31, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Comment - "O" and "P" are right next to each other on a standard QUERTY keyboard, and so couldn't "Donald Trumo" be a plausible typo? CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 08:22, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Keep Donal Trump as a phonetically plausible misspelling (and bearing in mind that a lot of wikipedia readers, though fluent in English, might not be very familiar with English-language personal names). Delete Donald Trumo: "o" and "p" might be next to each other on the common keyboard layout so this is indeed a plausible typo, but not plausible enough to justify keeping as it's only one among dozens of similar, and equally plausible, one-letter flips. – Uanfala (talk) 13:56, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. Every key on the keyboard borders 6 keys. With one redirect for every missing letter in "Donald Trump," and one for every possible finger-slip, we'd have 77 redirects. I know redirects are cheap, but that's too much. All that said, I strongly disagree with El Cid: There are many reasons that a Wikipedia redirect might be useful in a situation where Google would work too. For starters, what about people using Wikipedia's own search engine? — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 03:36, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete Donald Trumo, as the search bar suggests Trump anyway and I believe plausible typos are really meant to be for homophones - nobody thinks Trump is spelt "Trumo" (and that's actually really hard to type wrong anyway!). Per PinkAmpersand, I think there would be more than 77 redirects, in case somebody typed "fpms;f yti,[" or "sibKS REYNO" or "e9hqoe 547j0" or "xk \,x fdh l", each one being just one finger slip away from "donald trump". I think keeping Donald Trumo would set a poor precedent. Would we need Barack Obams? Hillary Clintom? Theresa Mau? Elizabeth OO? — ᴀnemoneᴘroᴊecтors 11:51, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete trumo as not likely typo especially if someone is typing this up in search, they are going to find trump's name from the possibilities listed right away. Created in November 2016 after the election. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:47, 25 December 2017 (UTC)
