The result of the discussion was delete. After two and a half weeks of discussion, I think any reasonable admin would make this call. Contact me with concerns. --BDD (talk) 16:27, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CRYSTAL violation. Redirect was created because of something that might happen. Source given in Interstate 495 (North Carolina) does not give a timeline for when that might be. Once more facts are known, I would not be against recreating this redirect, but not now. –Fredddie 23:17, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I included I-44 (NC-VA) for the same reason. –Fredddie 23:19, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Strong keep: I understand your reasoning, but -- since there are reliable sources that discuss this proposal -- I think this redirect and the Interstate 44 (North Carolina–Virginia) redirect should not be deleted. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 23:27, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both per nom. Imzadi 1979  23:42, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom, but especially since they're not mentioned at the target page, so they're misleading. --BDD (talk) 18:47, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • They are mentioned at the target. No opinion on the redirect. --NE2 23:35, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
