I'm uncertain as to why this redirects to Furmint as 'Mainak' isn't mentioned in the article. Either this should go, or Mainak should be added in an appropriate fashion. Peridon (talk) 18:56, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

• Comment Mainak is a recognized synonym of Furmint. Usually wine grape articles have a section on synonyms but this section was removed for some reason. That section has been restored. As Wikipedia is a global encyclopedia, and wine grapes are known under various names across the globe, it is standard course to have synonyms of wine grapes redirect to the grape's main name.
