WP:CNR to WikiProject with nonstandard naming, created by banned user user:Tyciol in 2009. Usually WikiProject WP:Shortcuts start with 'WikiProject'. This is too likely to be confused with a real project. John Vandenberg (chat) 13:54, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- To be absolutely clear this was created in February 2009, the creator wasn't banned until October 2009, so this was not in violation of a block or ban. The creator's banning was unrelated to either redirects or martial arts, so it is not relevant to this discussion. Thryduulf (talk) 18:30, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- The creator's ArbCom ban was indeed not for misconduct relating to martial arts. AGK [•] 23:32, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- I would say the ban was more broad than any specific topic. Are you able to determine whether there was no misconduct relating to martial arts? It is mostly possible to deduce that, but it is a lot of work. But thanks for clarifying the timeline of this redirect and the ban. In 2009 alone they created ~1000 redirects that have since been deleted. Admins can see that here. In some cases they have been re-created by others. Many other redirects have been redirected to a better target (e.g. Please!). Also deleted CNR by this user are Wikidoption, Wikimentor, Wiki-tan, Cross-namespace redirect and Cross-namespace redirects (deleted at Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2010_June_16#Cross-namespace_redirects). John Vandenberg (chat) 01:06, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- How is any of that relevant to this redirect? Whether this is an appropriate redirect or not is entirely to do with this redirect. We don't do guilt by association on Wikipedia - Wikipedia:Comment on the content, not the contributor. Thryduulf (talk) 08:49, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- I was asking user:AGK about his description of the ban, and giving him some data points that might help. John Vandenberg (chat) 09:58, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

I don't really found a reason for this redirect. There is so many versions of SET so I think this is really to need to discussion. jcnJohn Chen (Talk-Contib.) RA 03:30, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep This is not only a good redirect, but a great one. No reason to delete presented. Ego White Tray (talk) 04:10, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep, I really don't understand the proposer's rationale for deletion. older ≠ wiser 14:19, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- Keep - covered at the target. No WP:RFD#DELETE reason to delete. The Whispering Wind (talk) 21:22, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- OK, I explain. Sony Entertainment Television is a general entertainment channel, and is available in several countries. Sony Pictures Television is a production company. --jcnJohn Chen (Talk-Contib.) RA 03:30, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- It's mentioned in the target three times, albeit briefly: in the lead, the "Background" section and the "Television channels" section. SET is owned/operated or jointly operated (the article is a bit vague which) by SPT, so there is a clear relationship. Although it could be expanded into an article in its own right, until that happens, it seems the most appropriate target. (That the redirect target links to the redirect is an indication it might one day become a separate article.) Keep. Si Trew (talk) 07:12, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
