The result of the discussion was retarget to Nashville, Tennessee#Nicknames. The term is mentioned (and explained) there and nobody has raised any objections to the suggestion. Thryduulf (talk) 15:52, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can find no special relationship between this phrase and any meaning of Colorado Springs. Apparently, Nashville, Tennessee is the far more likely target, but I doubt that it is worth redirecting anywhere. bd2412 T 22:14, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was tagged as CSD G7 by creator (creator blanked the page). One question about its existence was all that I needed to get rid of it. So, it will be deleted soon by an administrator. (closed by redirect's creator) Steel1943 (talk) 19:58, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think this shortcut is a bit silly as it points to a template that by definition is only used on one page. Unlike with articles, usefulness is something we expect from shortcuts and this one is not really useful and just more clutter on the Wikipedia alphabet soup. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:50, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note from creator. I'm not worried about discussing this. I'm going to place a {{db-blanked}} tag on it. Steel1943 (talk) 19:51, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was disambiguate. Thryduulf (talk) 16:23, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Possible confusing redirect with other articles such as Classics Volume One and Classics Volume 1 both existing, while the target article itself makes barely a mention of it except in a discography. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 08:51, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disambiguate. It seems like there are a number of albums that might be identified this way. bd2412 T 18:05, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Kunihiko Fukushima[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. Thryduulf (talk) 16:46, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would like the redirect to be deleted. I get that he was important in the development of the neocognitron, but a neocognitron is not a person and Mr. Fukushima is not a neural network. There are also many pages linking to the guy in the format "neocognitrons, developed by fukishima kunihiko, ..." and this just breeds confusion. APerson (talk!) 03:57, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - redirects do not equate the redirect title with the target; they are purely search aids. Since Kunihiko Fukushima gets a major mention at the target, and there is no suggestion that he is notable in his own right, this redirect is both helpful and harmless. I would like the redirect to be deleted. See the RfD right above this one. Also, why is his name backwards? APerson (talk!) 03:57, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - Japanese names go by Family name then Given name, so it's common to see redirects related to Japanese people that have both Japanese and "western" naming orders. -- Ned Scott 17:11, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was withdrawn by nominator. (non-admin closure) Steel1943 (talk) 04:46, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Not known as that, and there are likely other Sachin's who are known as "maestro"s. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 00:38, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thinking it over, he does seem to be known as that, although "Maestro" is usually capitalized. It also seems to be a redirect from a fork created in August 2009. If there was anything merged (which there doesn't seem to be), the redirect would need to be kept. And it seems to have little harm. I don't like it, but there doesn't seem to be any guideline-based reason for deletion. I'm not going to withdraw the nomination, as I would hope that someone would come up with a reason. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 04:39, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Speedy delete. R3 — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 05:07, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Not actually used. Unlikely to be misleading, except in that it is not used. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 00:38, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
