The result of the discussion was Reverse Both titles are considered reasonable variants and the move requested by the the nominator seems uncontroversial. Tikiwont (talk) 20:27, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect page to Indian Ballistic Missile Defense Programme needs deleting. As you probably noticed the current title of the article mixes US and British spelling - not good at all. For example Defense is US spelling and Programme is UK spelling!

When this redirect page is deleted I can then go-ahead and successfully execute a page move. India uses British English, not American and surely not a mixture of both!

Indian Ballistic Missile Defence Programme is the correct UK title. Obscure Reality Ping me 10:43, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • If a redirect is in the way of a page move, then you need to go to Wikipedia:Requested moves, where someone will carry out the necessary actions if it's either uncontroversial or supported by consensus. I would recommending keeping the resulting redirect though as it's a very plausible {{R from misspelling}}. Thryduulf (talk) 01:13, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Quick keep per {{R from misspelling}}. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 06:01, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep useful for navigation, as a Canadian I take offence at the idea that mixing American and British spelling is not good at all. WilyD 07:43, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep plausible misspelling.--Lenticel (talk) 00:55, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can't fine any mention of this name in article Vermont, and perhaps vandalism.(Also People's_Republic_of_Berkeley) ibicdlcod (talk) 09:24, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • There's a number of google hits for People's Republic of Vermont, but I haven't noticed any reliable sources. People's Republic of Berkeley has been mentioned in the Berkeley Daily Planet, Time, and Michelle Malkin's site, for example, so that one should be kept. TimBentley (talk) 04:22, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is a book called The People's Republic: Vermont and the Sanders Revolution so maybe not unreasonable. If kept it should maybe point to Bernie_Sanders#Mayor_of_Burlington or the like.--Tikiwont (talk) 20:35, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete unless a target can be provided which explains the title. Otherwise users will waste their time trying to figure out why the redirect is there. Siuenti (talk) 21:11, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TortoiseBzr[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Keep. Ruslik_Zero 17:35, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: The target article of this redirect does not contain any information about TortoiseBzr itself. Bazaar is a revision control system for which TortoiseBzr provides a User Interface. 193.83.14.235 (talk) 11:10, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep was crated per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TortoiseBzr and the redirect seems logical enough as it might even be shipped together and is preferable over a redlink that might incite recreation. Rather I'd add some info about various front-ends at the target.--Tikiwont (talk) 09:34, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
