F♭ (musical note)[edit]

The result of the discussion was Keep plausible synonym as some of the black keys are missing.--Salix (talk): 14:20, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Action unknown, but there are no references to F♭ in this article, and so this needs a lot of attention. Georgia guy (talk) 16:19, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. No strong opinion on whether it should remain a redirect or be reverted back to one of the older versions with content but that is a debate that and and should be sorted out on the article's Talk page. The fact that a redirect title is not mentioned in the target article, however, is not a sufficient reason to nominate the redirect for deletion. Rossami (talk) 18:55, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Don't forget that unlike Afd, the d in Rfd stands for discussion, not deletion. Georgia guy (talk) 18:58, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as someone who can read music, E can be denoted as F-flat under certain circumstances. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 03:07, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as plausible synonym.--Lenticel (talk) 00:10, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Then there needs to be some mention of F♭ in the article. Georgia guy (talk) 00:14, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: I know nothing about music, but Ten Pound Hammer's comment makes me think that there could be an article. Also note, that similar articles exist for similar... things that are spelled this way. Well, I really know nothing about music. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 00:31, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep  The Template:Semitones at the bottom of the E (musical note) page shows E/F♭ together so it is not technically correct to say that F♭ does not appear on the E page.  This redirect has been previously discussed at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2008 July 21.  Personally, I think we should have articles for all of the semitones listed in Template:semitones, and I think the history version before F♭ was last redirected was ok.  The editor working on the article at that time is still active as User talk:Double sharp.  F♭, C♭, B♯, and E♯ should all be handled the same way, so it doesn't make sense to just discuss F♭.  I totally disagree with deletion, and the "What Links Here" shows a number of pages.  I looked up a partially related AfD that I remembered, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/E-sharp minorUnscintillating (talk) 06:18, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
