The result of the discussion was Delete. Tikiwont (talk) 09:32, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"X and Y Z" Unlikely exact search title. Presently a redirect to X Z but Y Z also has a page, so looking for either concept already works and the intersection or union of them is not novel or notable. Actually, that doesn't even make sense ("and" is misleading) because one is a subset or special case of the other and again we have separate pages on both the specific and more general ones. DMacks (talk) 23:54, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The only other option here would be turning it into a disambiguation page, but I don't think that makes sense here. —Psychonaut (talk) 10:13, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm not sure I understand your nomination statement DMacks. Are you saying that "Y-Δ transforms" are a special case of the more generic "star-mesh transforms", that we have articles on both the generic and the special case transforms, and that there is nothing special or notable about the combination of this special case with the generic? Thryduulf (talk) 11:54, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. Wye-delta starts by defining itself as "The Y-Δ transform can be considered a special case of the star-mesh transform for three resistors.". DMacks (talk) 13:39, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It would be like creating an article called "Elephants and mammals". We have articles on elephants, and articles on mammals, but there's no particular reason we should have one on both of them together, nor why anyone would ever think to look for that particular combination of terms. —Psychonaut (talk) 16:28, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Like "On the genus of a graph" below, this is a case where something that would better have been handled as an A10 speedy was turned into a redirect instead. The redirect title isn't helpful, so just delete it too. —David Eppstein (talk) 20:21, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Psychonaut's very helpful analogy. Thryduulf (talk) 22:06, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We don't need another pi redirect. 3.14159 is as far as we should go. Six Sided Pun Vows (talk | contribs | former account) 22:25, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Retarget to Buyout (Breaking Bad). Tikiwont (talk) 13:18, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Not mentioned in the target. Possible episode title name that had been changed post-production. WylieCoyote (talk) 19:39, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Buyout (Breaking Bad). This was a quasi-notable line in the episode, and is mentioned in the article. I think it's reasonable that someone could think this was the title of the episode. Hoof Hearted (talk) 13:21, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I also think "Buyout" was what "Everybody Wins" became. In favor of either deletion or redirect to "EW". — WylieCoyote (talk) 19:31, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
