There is no information whatsoever about the word "Chobin" in List of Pokémon characters.

I myself know nothing about Chobin except an alien phrase that I saw somewhere ("Hoshi no ko Chobin") of which I can make neither head nor tail. But that itself is enough evidence to prove that this redirect is not useful and does not guide uninformed people who come to Wikipedia for information. Wayne Ronald Bennett (Canadian politician)[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. Jafeluv (talk) 12:00, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - Unnecessary redirects. No page on Wayne Bennett even exists and Wayne Bennett (politician), Wayne R. Bennett, and Wayne Ronald Bennett all redirect to the same place. The added Canadian part over just using politician is not at all necessary here. Aaaccc (talk), 19 June 2011 (UTC)

United States of North america[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Kept. Discussed at target so it's a reasonable search term. Re-targeting would be inappropriate as Kusma describes. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:30, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unintuitive redirect. recommend delete or change to target United States of America. Kumioko (talk) 00:16, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to the USofA. 65.94.47.63 (talk) 04:01, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep or delete, but do not retarget. A search for this fictional country should either lead to an article that mentions it (like A Mind Forever Voyaging does) or turn up the search page. Retargetting will annoy people searching for this term, who will probably be able to find the USA article as well if they try. —Kusma (t·c) 04:38, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Haldan[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Convert to disambiguation page. --Taelus (talk) 09:10, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. There are many people named Haldan around the world, some more famous and some less famous; looking up the name "Haldan" on Wikipedia shouldn't point to a Tolkien character, any more than looking up the name "Sam". —SaxTeacher (talk) 01:19, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just be bold and turn it into a disambiguation page if we have articles about other Haldans. No deletion is necessary for that. —Kusma (t·c) 04:43, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree with Kusma, if there are other articles on Haldan list them on a dab page. Otherwise keep it as it is. De728631 (talk) 15:00, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
