Target makes no reference to this term and there is no logical link between the two. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward: not at work) - talk 18:54, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, useless and possibly unverifiable term. The article on YouTube Poops was deleted as not notable (see AFD, closed by me), and none of the participants could even find any reliable sources using or defining this term (nor can I). Googling it does find many unreliable sources using it, however. Shortly after I deleted the article, this redirect was created. There is no discussion or even mention of "YouTube Poops" at mashup (video), nor should there be in light of the AFD and the lack of any reliable sources. postdlf (talk) 18:26, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Don't Delete, I thought it was necessary to redirect.

  • Delete Title is not plural (see AfD referring to original article which was deleted six times; the AfD went through to establish whether future articles should be created about it) and no one agreed with LDEJRuff's suggestion to redirect. Not really a mashup as that takes video from different sources, while this concept just takes a video and changes it all around in odd ways, and no reliable sources talking about it. Hmmm. Google "youtube poop" with the quotes has "About 2,300,000 results". I think we should Delete YouTube Poops and have something at YouTube Poop instead, either an article or a redirect.—Anomalocaris (talk) 04:53, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. If there is an article at "YouTube Poop" (or other capitalisation) then this title should redirect there. If "YouTube Poop" is believed to be a worthwhile redirect to somewhere, then this title should redirect to the same place. I have no opinion on whether there should be such an article or redirect though. Thryduulf (talk) 10:56, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ashketar gravity[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Loop quantum gravity, though if anyone is adamant about it being at Ashtekar variables I won't complain. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:51, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Not only beyond implausible (Ashketar gravity != Seven-dimensional space), but also see item 10 on this list: WP:RFD#DELETE. It is better to have a redlink here and perhaps have somebody in the know to write up an article on Ashketar gravity (whatever that is). Lanthanum-138 (talk) 12:08, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • It appears as if "Ashketar gravity" (which looks likely to be a misspelling of "Ashtekar") may be the same as or related to Loop quantum gravity and/or Ashtekar variables. However I'm way out of my depth with these articles so I could be completely wrong! I'll see if I can find a relevant wikiproject to notify that might explain things. • C÷omment First of note that this is not a redirect to Seven-dimensional space but to Seven-dimensional space#Applications. This section indeed has a subsection about seven dimensional space in Ashtekar gravity. (which is misspelled Ashketar). A search of "Ashketar" on google scholar, reveals that this misspelling is not completely impossible.
Looking at the source of the statement in Seven-dimensional space, it is clear that by Ashtekar gravity that source means gravity formulated in Ashtekar variables. Since we have an article on that, I suggest that this redirect be pointed to that article, since that is what somebody that searches for "Ashketar gravity" on wikipedia will be looking for.TR 16:15, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Repoint to Ashtekar variables per TR Tideflat (talk) 17:38, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Loop quantum gravity which is the page more fully laying out the implications of Ashtekar variables to general relativity (and therefore gravity). "Ashtekar variables" would not be a wrong choice since it also links prominently to "loop quantum gravity" but I think most readers would be expecting the latter. Also tag as {{R from misspelling}}.
