The result of the discussion was Delete to encourage creation of an article about him. Ruslik_Zero 19:09, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently inducted into a consumer electronics hall of fame, but the title redirects to the old Circuit City. No mention of Mr. Sharp in that article likely leaves more than one wondering who he is and what he did or why he's notable in the context of Circuit City. I get the feeling we can probably safely get rid of this one. No shame in being a redlink before we design a real article... SchuminWeb (Talk) 05:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • stubify, delete or retarget to Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame (in that preference order). Googlereveals that Mr Sharp was the CEO of Circuit City from 1982 to 2000, which makes the redirect logical, but as the Circuit City (1949 company) article does not mention him the redirect is not helpful. A 2 minute Google for "Richard Sharp" "consumer electronics" suggests that there are likely to be sufficient sources for an article about him, and being CEO for 18 years and inducted into the hall of fame should mean he passes the notability bar. • Delete. The former CEO of Circuit City (and current head of Crocs Inc.) seems notable enough to merit his own standalone article, and a redirect would discourage the creation of such an article.B.Wind (talk) 17:04, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
