The result of the discussion was dabify. I've retargeted all three to Taiwan (disambiguation) as that seems to cover it. If not, anyone is free to create a specific disambiguation page for these, but it's clear that there's not a sufficiently obvious primary topic to point it to one or the other. This obviously has absolutely no effect on the Chinese Wikipedia, over which we have no particular jurisdiction - by all means raise the issue there. ~ mazca talk 17:03, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RETARGET to Taiwan Province (Republic of China), per primary topic, because ROC obviously currently administrates this area. Also would like the same action for the traditional equivalents (臺灣省 and 台灣省). 华钢琴49 (TALK) 00:57, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dabify all three should be disambiguated. I propose that all three Chinese language redirects point to Province of Taiwan which would then be rebuilt as a dab page. 70.29.208.247 (talk) 04:53, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
then if we do so here, then we ought to do the same on the Chinese Wiki. 华钢琴49 (TALK) 12:42, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, why not? But each Wikipedia has different rules. 70.29.208.247 (talk) 07:09, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment The results of this discussion will impact English Wikipedia only. Also, I would like to participate; the page should be made into a disambiguation page due to POV issues, we must remain completely neutral in international conflicts. • Comment Yes, doing a similar action for '台湾省' at the ZH-WIKI would require a page move there (not exactly pleasant). '台湾省' currently points to the ROC-administered area; I guess that is sensible, since PRC holds no actual administration, and goes by PRIMARY TOPIC. ---华钢琴49 (TALK) 23:38, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Tie rod. ~ mazca talk 17:00, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

deletion. Put simply a track rod is not the same thing as a Panhard rod. Track rod is understood to be the UK equivalent of a tie rod in relation to automobile steering. An explanation has been placed in the Tie rod article. The current redirect does not permit identification of the Tie rod article. Agent0060 23:08, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Mistake in page move –– Jezhotwells (talk) 21:38, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need to bring a redirect you yourself created to RfD. Just tag it with WP:CSD#G7. Grondemar 23:07, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So tagged per above. B.Wind (talk) 19:13, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete (R3). Article was apparently created by accident at the wrong name (probably because of said dog), then moved. ~ mazca talk 10:46, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see no reason that this redirect should be kept, it makes no sense. The author says that s/he "accidentally scribbled because of a dog," whatever that means. Fiftytwo thirty (talk) 01:47, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
