June 13[edit]
This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on June 13, 2009
Zezima[edit]
The result of the discussion was Deleted. There is no discussion of the term at the target. It is not user-friendly to send someone to a page with no content on the subject they requested. -- JLaTondre (talk) 01:06, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
This redirects to RuneScape because he was formerly the game's #1 player. However, I really don't see any reason to keep the redirect around as he really isn't that notable, even to RuneScape, and as such isn't even listed in the main article. Tavix | Talk 21:00, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- Weak keep I dislike weighing in with neutrality, but I do want to say that I can imagine RuneScape players wanting to know more about Zezima, and subsequently checking Wikipedia. Would it not be better to at least show them the RS page than nothing? ~ Amory (user • talk • contribs) 01:30, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Fledgling Jason Steed[edit]
The result of the discussion was Kept. Term is discussed at target so provides users some information they would be looking. -- JLaTondre (talk) 01:10, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Redirect recreated almost immediately after AfD resulted in deletion. A redirect from the name of a book to the name of a real person is puzzling - it doesn't seem an obvious choice for a redirect, like going from the name of a book to the name of its author. - During the first afd, it was determined that since Raymond Steed was apparently notable, and Jason Steed was named after him (or possible Jason's dad, I don't remember exactly), a redirect from FJS to Raymond Steed made a certain amount of sense. I'm neutral on this - I don't see any particular need for the redirect, but I'm not in a huge rush to delete it, either.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:13, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- See as above from SarekOfVulcan. During the AFD it was suggested that an article be written on Raymond Steed and a re-direct from FJS created. I did both. When the recent FJS ended in a delete, I merely recreated the redirect.-- Myosotis Scorpioides 08:23, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
