• Strong Keep - the similar shortcut H:TMM is getting increasing use on the Help desk, and we need to add more shortcuts so we can efficiently link to individual chapters in that work (Wikipedia - The Missing Manual, a valuable introduction for new users, available in the Help: namespace in full text form). Delete. I'm not exactly sure why there is a redirect on English WP to an entry on wiktionary which is an Italian word. I found it through typing in random letters, so I can't imagine it truly serves a purpose. MSJapan (talk) 02:24, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Those are old revisions, and the word has since been changed to nerbi, although I'm not sure why somebody would seem to have troubler with whether it was nerbo, nerba, or nerbi if it was accurate information. MSJapan (talk) 16:31, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
    • I already know that they are old revisions. (I didn't cover my eyes when I went through the edit history to find them.) That's irrelevant. They answer your puzzlement as to why, that you expressed in the nomination. Uncle G (talk) 17:19, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
• Retarget to Pizzle. I know nothing about the Italian race Uncle G has linked to, but the use of a bull's penis as a flogging instrument is historically accurate, and Pizzle includes the small amount of information we have on the topic. Gavia immer (talk) 14:33, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

• Comments. The Wiktionary definition of nerbo is that of a whip; so, if this is redirected to pizzle and not to whip, there should be some additional information in the new target to give the redirect some context, because the only connection I see is due to Gavia's mention above. Note that dictionary.com omits the word entirely. So does merriam-webster.com. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 15:46, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

• Delete in light of IP's remark. Even if the material were added to pizzle, there would be two equally valid targets (the other being whip), but it bothers me that it seems that only Wiktionary has this word's definition. • Delete no indication that this term is used in English nor that this is any more culturally significant than the translation of any other common English word or phrase into any other language.
