[edit]
Cross-namespace redirect which is being used as a catch for people who forget or can't be bothered to add three extra characters to the link. There's no reason why a reader, as opposed to an editor or wannabe-editor, would ever want to know about the subject, and I don't think that retargetting to Wikipedia or similar would be useful. - Keep. Anybody searching for WikiProject is clearly looking for Wikipedia:WikiProject. More harm is done removing this link than keeping it. --- RockMFR 00:44, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep per RockMFR. This redirect aids in searches and points to pertinent information. SunDragon34 (talk) 01:07, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep again. As others have already said, there is no possibility of confusion here. There are over 100 inbound links. The theoretical downsides of a cross-namespace redirect do not justify deliberately making navigation harder for our own readers and editors. Rossami (talk) 04:31, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep Some CNRs are useful, and this is one of them. WikiProject clearly refers to Wikipedia, and it is unlikely that anyone would be confused by this redirect. --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 01:43, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. Anyone typing "WikiProject" into the search box are looking for the target page, be they a reader or editor. Since the term has no encyclopedic meaning, the danger of confusion here is minimal, and is far outweighed by the redirect's usefulness, having been used 1613 times in May, more than most redirects. Sjakkalle (Check!) 07:49, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep, no evidence that anyone has ever expected anything other than the redirect's target at this location. Kusma (talk) 08:09, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. Modify the rule against cross-namespace redirects, to prohibit them only when they are confusing. 69.140.152.55 (talk) 04:04, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
The likelihood that anyone is going to search for "P scale (Babylon 5)" is low to the point of infinitesimal. The article was previously deleted at AFD. Otto4711 (talk) 18:56, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Keep you didn't check the what links here first did you? A number of articles use this redirect, so it stays.--Serviam (talk) 21:07, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Offensive redirect: In Polish, zjeb, means "fucker". Visor (talk) 11:08, 14 June 2008 (UTC) This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on June 14, 2008
- Speedy Delete. If not a G10 (attack page), it's certainly an R3 (implausible redirect). So tagged. --UsaSatsui (talk) 11:41, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
