The result of the debate was Keep; nomination withdrawn (non-admin closure). Itub (talk) 09:18, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

English word with a non-English letter. Snowman (talk) 10:36, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. It is a valid but old-fashioned spelling in English. It is not a "non-English letter", but an o with a diaeresis. See Diaeresis_(diacritic)#In_English. It is often seen in old books, and therefore a valid redirect. --Itub (talk) 12:14, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - although rare, valid spelling. Not a "non-English letter", in which I assume that you mean a non-Latin letter. Jd027chat 21:41, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - This used to be very common, especially for double Os that split syllables like this. Especially with google books bringing 1900-1923 books online, it is good to have redirects like zoölogy, coördinate, etc. JackSchmidt (talk) 02:12, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Withdraw, thank you for pointing out its old spelling, which I have just found mentioned in Wiktionary under zoölogy, but not under zoology. I suppose the Wiktionary "zoology" page might need a "See also" section wikilinking "zoölogy", or a similar type of linking edit. Snowman (talk) 13:09, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was speedy deleted. VegaDark (talk) 22:06, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It appears to be vandalism, and unlikely search term. Also the name of the redir isn't mentioned in the target. David Pro (talk) 17:29, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy Delete Clearly vandalism.--Peter cohen (talk) 14:39, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong speedy delete - per speedy deletion criteria G3. Jd027chat 21:44, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
