Cherokee Phonetic Translation should be a literal translation of the name meaning unegv ulogilv (ᎤᏁᎬ ᎤᎶᎩᎸ) or "White Cloud" Jeffrey Vernon Merkey 07:53, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • An external site links to this redirect and refers to White Cloud by this name. However, this may be merely because the article was at that name at one time and I don't know what the policy is on redirects to fix our own mistakes. Perhaps this should be kept as an alternate (though incorrect) spelling? — The Storm Surfer 12:11, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep, we're generally pretty liberal in allowing redirects from incorrect spellings. This is an interesting case, as Wikipedia may actually be the source of the incorrect spelling, but even so, redirects are cheap, and this one may have ended up being useful despite itself. If there's any doubt about the utility, I think we should err on the side of caution and keep. But it should certainly be tagged as {{R from misspelling}} to avoid giving any wrong impressions. And I won't complain about deletion if stronger arguments are raised. Xtifr tälk 22:37, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Appears to have been part of a user-test, is also a double redirect, makes no sense as an article title --Versageek 19:54, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
