Cross-space redirect created by a move after a spelling error Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 02:53, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy delete, author's request/implausible typo. For future reference, you can just use {{db-author}} for this sort of thing. BryanG(talk) 06:18, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just did the move, I didn't make the original, so I wasn't sure if db-author would apply.Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 19:34, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Db-author shouldn't apply in these situations, because if it did, anyone could move pages around and tag the resulting redirect for deletion. The page was speedy deleted anyways, but deletion would have been the result here as it is an implausible typo and a cnr. --- RockMFR 21:34, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy-deletion overturned. Criterion G7 may not apply since the pagemover is not the sole author to the page. Rossami (talk)
  • The pagemove was executed the same day as the first draft of the page. Keep until the mistake is explained to the original creator of the template, then it can be cleaned out. Note: The destination template is itself up for deletion which may make this discussion moot. Rossami (talk) 05:56, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Typo, cnr. Inform the article's creator to be more careful when creating pages. --- RockMFR 18:03, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, typo left over from page move. RockMFR, there's no need to bite people – as long as the user knows that they should speedy tag leftover redirects such as this one in the future, there's no problem – Qxz 08:18, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
