Cross namespace redirect. MER-C 08:58, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Its a redirect. --Parker007 03:40, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's a cross namespace redirect, so it should be Deleted. JuJube 12:52, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, looks like it was created by mistake – Qxz 08:05, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, looks like it was created automatically by a page move. It is linked to from the project page, but I think that is unintentional too (I'm checking at the page now) - grubber 00:13, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SchallplattenTraum Schallplatten[edit]

The result of the debate was Deleted per Rootless rationale. -- JLaTondre 01:38, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Schallplatten means "records" in German, and is a common word in record label names. Rootless 18:13, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - this is the English Wikipedia site, and if it's so common, how come there are no other record labels with that word (at the moment)? If it changes in the future, then change the redirect to the article and make it a disambig page. Lugnuts 20:46, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • There are: Wikipedia has articles for VEB Deutsche Schallplatten and Virgin Schallplatten and mention a few more, discogs has tons (62, to be exact). Disambig? Saying "means records in German, and here's a list of labels that have it in their name"? Doesn't seem useful. And people think of that label as Traum, not as Schallplatten, so the redirect doesn't seem useful either (unlike the Traum and Trapez redirects, and mentions in MBF and My Best Friend). Rootless 21:04, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
      • Agree that a list of companies with Schallplatten would not be useful; that's what the "Search" button is for. And who in the US would ever call "Virgin Records" as just "Records". Seems odd to just delete the page outright; but, what else could it point to? - grubber 00:03, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Rootless' discussions above. -- Renesis (talk) 19:09, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
