List of Firefly (TV series) writersList of Firefly writers[edit]

The result of the debate was Keep. ¿Exir?¡Kamalabadi! 11:55, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lengthy, unlikely search target, left behind after move. No incoming links Fayenatic london (talk) 12:26, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep: the main article is Firefly (TV series), and anyone who knows that is quite likely to search for this list under that name. Redirects are cheap. Xtifr tälk 13:53, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ʹAcute accent[edit]

The result of the debate was retargeted to Greek numerals. — Gavia immer (talk) 14:25, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This character is not an acute accent but a numeral sign. See [1] -- Prince Kassad 13:08, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for spotting this, but, sheesh, why didn't you just change the redirect to something appropriate, like so? dab (𒁳) 13:23, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't find an appropriate target. But it looks good now, thanks. -- Prince Kassad 13:29, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Northern Lighthouse Board (formerly known as Commissioners for Northern Lights)Northern Lighthouse Board[edit]

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 04:32, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing links here and it is not a plausible search term. The page Commissioners for Northern Lights already redirects to the same place Pre1mjr 13:16, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. People will search one or the other, not both. meshach 20:20, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Damu Ridas Vol.2: How Deep Is Your HoodHow Deep Is Your Hood[edit]

The result of the debate was keep. --- RockMFR 06:36, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrectly listed at AfD, moving here. Original nomination by user:Tasco 0 was "The name of this articles is not correct, the right one is "How Deep Is Your Hood" and no article is linking to it.". I'll add that this is an impausible search term. The target may also be a deletion candidate. Flyguy649 talk contribs 17:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete; the name of this article is not correct, the right one is "How Deep Is Your Hood" and no article is linking to it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tasco 0 (talkcontribs).
  • The instructions at the top, again, indicate that the act of renaming is useful page history. There being no other reason for deleting such a redirect, this one too is a default keep. There is no such thing as untidiness. Besides, though I know nothing of the topic, I can't believe that when the cover picture in the target article uses almost exactly the name of this redirect that there is any reason to suggest it is 'wrong'. Splash - tk 20:50, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Splash. Absolutely no reason to call this "implausible" when it's right there on the cover. Furthermore, it's not a typo! Of course, if the target gets deleted, that's another matter, but until then, we should absolutely keep this. Redirects are cheap. Xtifr tälk 13:50, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Plausible alternate title, no possibility of confusion with another subject. BigNate37(T) 14:22, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Same here, this should be deleted. This redirect is pointless. Anybody who search for "how deep is your hood" will get the right article (How Deep Is Your Hood). In addition, the user Splash edited the article saying I "cutted and pasted". Please re-evaluate this as we were discussing it in my talk page. So, delete.--Tasco 0 18:02, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Damu Ridas Vol.1: DangerousDamu Ridas (album)[edit]

The result of the debate was keep. --- RockMFR 06:36, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrectly listed at AfD, moving here. Original nomination by user:Tasco 0 was "The name of this articles is not correct, the right one is "Damu Ridas (album)" and no article is linking to it.". I'll add that this is an impausible search term. Flyguy649 talk contribs 18:12, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete; the name of this articles is not correct, the right one is "Damu Ridas (album)" and no article is linking to it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tasco 0 (talkcontribs).
  • This has an extensive history, and is not a candidate for deletion as a result. See the reasons for retention at the top of the main RfD page. Being unlinked-to is also not a reason for deletion, most particularly not a speedy deletion which was the original attempt I refused to act on. Keep, obviously. Splash - tk 20:35, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Redirects with history can still be made "not redirects". If the title they're at is truely unhelpful, move them to a more plausible one (history included) or move them to be a subpage of the talk page of the article in question, providing a link at the talk page itself. Hence, saving the history is trivial, and does not require a history merge. Having said that, there is no valid reason given for deletion and I can't see one, so keep. BigNate37(T) 14:21, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keep both for the history and the fact that this seems to be a very plausible search target! Xtifr tälk 13:43, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • What the history merge has to do with anything? When the right article was already created and with a history? (Damu Ridas (album)). This should be deleted. If any user searchs for "damu ridas", the user will get the Damu Ridas article and the album article, Damu Ridas (album). Anyways, the history merger and possible related search target are not why this article should not be deleted, so delete. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tasco 0 (talkcontribs).
