Template:db-product → Template:db-inc[edit]

A previously-deleted improper speedy deletion template that now redirects to {{db-Inc}}, which deals with speedying of corporations and companies. Products are not speedyable, and the implication this redirect creates is inappropriate. Hindu literature → Hindi literature[edit]

The result of the debate was Deleted. Hindu is not the same as Hindi. Literature is not the same as scripture. This seems better as a red link to reduce confusion. -- JLaTondre 15:17, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nominated for speedy, did not meet any of the CSD for redirects, but does warrant a discussion my opinion, as Hinduism and Hindi are two very different things and this redirect should be corrected. I would suggest re-redirecting to Hindu scripture but I am no expert on these things so will defer to the wider community if a better suggestion can arise. Qwghlm 09:34, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Personally, I think a literature > scripture redirect might be considered vaguely controversial. Also, after looking at the entry for 'Christian literature', I am of the opinion that there is space for a genuine article here; given that, in the absence of the article, the redirect should go.   • Redirect to Hindu scripture - Nothing links to it, but in the case that someone is looking for it, it is more likely the typo is on the second word.
