The nominated redirect was Kept. —Centrxtalk • 16:32, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible Typo 204.113.242.120 23:07, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. I'd say a one-letter omission (not only likely as a misspelling but also in the event of premature return-keying) qualifies as a plausible typo. BigNate37(T) 00:03, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The most plausible typo. CP/M comm |Wikipedia Neutrality Project| 07:53, 19 September

  • Keep. per above. --Storkk 16:31, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep other redirects that have been missing one letter have been kept in the past. Some examples are Japnese - Japanese and Common critcisms of Windows XP - Common criticisms of Windows XP. This one does not seem to be any different. --64.229.73.156 22:39, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

CBS evening news anchorsCBS Evening News Anchors[edit]

The nominated redirect was speedy kept as {{R from other capitalisation}}. Please use {{db-r1}} and not RfD (see CSD R1) once the target is gone. BigNate37(T) 20:23, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Target article is about to be deleted per uncontested WP:PROD (everything in it is duplicative of the CBS Evening News article), so this redirect is about to point to a blank page. Might as well remove it now. Aaron 18:31, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AkpmAndrew Morton[edit]

The nominated redirect was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 02:08, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect apparently exists because it's a handle for somebody named Andrew Morton. There is no indication that the Andrew Morton in question is any of the Andrew Mortons listed on the dab page. A Google search turned up this page that apparently is what led to the creation of the redirect:[2] Erechtheus 01:49, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment too bad the University of Wollongong link on that page is broken and a search of their website gives zero hits for the exact phrase "Andrew Morton". The only Andrew Morton link from the DAB that refers to Australia is Andrew Morton (computer programmer), the other two are British. I am skeptical of redirecting to the programmer without confirmation, so I'd go for weak delete. BigNate37(T) 17:35, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made the redirect. It is Andrew Morton(Computer programmer). I'll try to find a reference for it. Eruantalon 21:54, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • The best way to resolve this RfD would be to add a sourced reference to the Akpm handle in the Andrew Morton (computer programmer) article, although that's not the only way this RfD could be resolved to end in a keep consensus. In any event, it should be tagged with {{R from alternate name}} if kept. BigNate37(T) 22:11, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment how's this? at the bottom, it's signed "Andrew Morton - akpm - 14 Nov 2001". So at least he refers to himself that way. Doubt if it's that relevant. Don't take this as keep or delete opinion. --Storkk 16:35, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pedobear4chan[edit]

The nominated redirect was Deleted. —Centrxtalk • 05:27, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article doesn't even mention the word Pedobear once.--Vercalos 06:51, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak Delete - looks like trolling from [http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php/Pedobear ED]. The fact that it has a UD definition means that some people might type it, hence "weak". On the other hand, it does seem intentionally inflammatory. --Storkk 16:40, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete- doesn't seem plausible to me. PJM 12:20, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
