October 1[edit]

Portal gunPortal (computer game)[edit]

The nominated redirect was Kept. As long as target article exists, there is enough usage of this term to justify the redirect. Any crystal ball concerns are more appropriately handled at the target. -- JLaTondre 16:40, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No reason this should exist yet. Wikipedia is WP:NOT a crystal ball. The game hasn't been released, there's no reason to try to make redirects out of elements of the game that may not be finalized. - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 06:03, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See [1] also, previously discussed but never went through the RFD process. - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 06:04, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. This is a notable term, whether or not the game is actually out yet. I don't understand what your problem with the redirect is. --NE2 16:04, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep I originally created this redirect, which was then incorrectly speedy deleted by JzG (on the basis that the game hasn't been released yet). This game would be notable even in the unlikely event of it not being released. Portal gun is a good candidate for somebody to search on, so it should be left. No good reason to delete it. Follow-upFagan inspection[edit]

The nominated redirect was Deleted. Page moved to Talk:Fagan inspection/Follow-up to maintain edit history for GFDL compliance and new redirect deleted. -- JLaTondre 16:54, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is no reason for this to redirect here - it is a general term that is applicable in many situations so the redirect is confusing at best. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Follow-up, where the concensus was don't redirect, but nevertheless a redirect was made. HappyDog 23:55, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete unless a better target can be found. Most people looking for "Follow-up" will not be looking for "Fagan inspection". Gavia immer (u|t|c) 13:38, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
