Image taken from a Wordpress blog. Uploader claims it's licensed under cc-by-sa-4.0, and links to the Wordpress ToS page as evidence of that. However, the ToS page states "(Note, we’ve decided to make the below Terms of Service available under a Creative Commons Sharealike license, which means you’re more than welcome to steal it and repurpose it for your own use, just make sure to replace references to us with ones to you, and if you don’t mind we’d appreciate a link to WordPress.com somewhere on your site. We spent a lot of money and time on the below, and other people shouldn’t need to do the same.)". It sounds like they've released their actual ToS under cc-by-sa-4.0, not the rest of the content on their website. The image is assumed to be copyrighted. Can you prove what you said? Are you able prove how "The image is assumed to be copyrighted"?

Hi @Ejaz92:. The Terms of Service document linked is pretty clear that they're relasing the actual text of their ToS under cc-by-sa-4.0. But it is mute about what images on their website are released under. As for the image assumed to be copyrighted, that's how copyright law works. Images (and other creative works) are automatically subject to copyright protection unless the creator of that work explicitly releases it under a free license. See Wikipedia:Copyrights#Image guidelines. Copyrighted works can only be used on Wikipedia if they fall under a valid claim of fair use. As it stands, this image is tagged with a free license tag that appears to be inaccurate. Cheers, Nick—^Contact/_Contribs 04:17, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
