- File:Danni Kerk.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Has the copyright on the picture, doubt the user is the actual holder of the copyright. SKATER Speak. 16:48, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- I am the actual copyright holder, which is why you will notice the name on the copyright note matches my username here on wiki. There is also a link to a Google Plus page where the image has been published before on the image information. Preveen (talk) 16:59, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- You need to prove this by getting an OTRS ticket in place on the file. The instructions are at WP:Consent. -- Diannaa (talk) 20:31, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

- Appears to be a screen capture of third party video. No EXIF data, web resolution. Uploader has been confused about copyrights in the past. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 19:03, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was: Image has been converted to fair use. Diannaa (talk) 20:35, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- It says that this 1910 photo copes from a private photo album, so the claim that the photo was published before 1923. It says that the digital image was created in the late 1990s, so maybe this was when it was first published. According to Commons:COM:HIRTLE, photos created in 1910 and first published in the 1990s enter the public domain on 1 January 2048. Stefan2 (talk) 23:09, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
I am the uploader. Thank you for the notification about this. In hindsight, I will instead tag it as Non-free Fair Use which is easy to establish in this case, e.g.
- It is a picture of a deceased person/persons, for use in an article/articles about that person and obtaining a free close substitute is not reasonably likely.
- It is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality).
- The photo is only being used for informational purposes.
- As an image taken prior to 1 January 1955, it is in the Public Domain in Australia, which is the country in which it was created (should it still be in copyright elsewhere); please see Template:PD-Australia.

- Note: This image is currently tagged as non-free. If there is a dispute with the rationale, please tag the image with {{dfu}} or list it at WP:Non-free content review. AnomieBOT⚡ 04:04, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

- I don't have time to search through all of the Flickr user's files to find this one, but I looked at some of the other files and they were all marked as "all rights reserved". Stefan2 (talk) 23:20, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

- From what I can see, this photo has been used as a book cover, in newspapers and on various websites, so the "own work" claim may be invalid. Stefan2 (talk) 23:29, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
