- Summary says "Images owned by Virtual World Entertainment", says "used with permission for educational and promotional purposes". Then the license provided is PD-own? I don't think that's right. Furthermore, I'm not sure this qualifies for fair use given the uncertain provenance and given my understanding that fair use imagery of places, like living persons, are generally not allowed without a compelling reason. These places still exist, thus a free replacement could be made. —/Mendaliv/2¢/Δ's/ 00:00, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Copies of this image are available online, in particular here, so I am questioning whether the uploader is actually the photographer and copyright holder to the image. Dianna (talk) 03:37, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Old revision deleted. Dianna (talk) 13:56, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- The old revision appears to be a copyright violation. See Special:PermanentLink/548227018. Stefan2 (talk) 21:01, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Since the copyright holder did not respond to my request of using the original picture, I uploaded a picture that I took so that it would fit the requirements to be on Wikipedia. Rp0211 (talk2me) 21:59, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- New pictures should be uploaded with a new file name, not as a new revision of an old file, especially when they have different copyright status. -- Dianna (talk) 12:26, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment this should be deleted through FFD not PUF, since under US-law, this isn't protected -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 06:52, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Cases like this are typically handled at PUF. Not sure if that practice should be changed. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:40, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- marked as a work of federal government; actually a work of a local government agency --Clorox (diskussion) 23:32, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Since there aren't any tags for works of local governments, it's a safe bet to assume the use of a federal government tag us used as a substitute. -------User:DanTD (talk) 05:57, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- There is no tag for works of local governments simply because those works normally are protected by copyright. This image is unfree and replaceable, so it needs to be deleted. --Stefan2 (talk) 14:38, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
