- This is obviously not pre-1923 since it is from 1956. No indication that the film is in the public domain. en:File:Hot Rod Girl FilmPoster.jpeg is a film poster for the film and is marked as being fair use. Stefan2 (talk) 01:35, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Which country is this and does freedom of panorama really apply? File:Survival of the fattest.jpg shows the artwork in China and this page shows the same artwork at various places in Denmark. Denmark has too restricted freedom of panorama for artworks for Commons. Since the statue seems to be moving once in a while, I don't think that it is correct to state that it is permanently located somewhere, which is a requirement for freedom of panorama to apply in most countries, except possibly for the People's Republic of China where the permanent requirement doesn't seem to apply. - File:DPRK Passpot (1950s).jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- I doubt that this goes under Article 12 of the copyright law; the passport is likely copyrighted, unless the author died at least 50 years ago. Stefan2 (talk) 02:06, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The picture of the passport is taken by me, hence tagged as released to the public. As for the artwork of the passport itself, if the emblem of the DPRK is subject to no copyright as per article 12 of said copyright law, then chances are using it on a document doesn't change that. Not to mention there is another image of a modern DPRK passport that is not subject to any kind of deletions. Seralys (talk) 04:00, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't think that the picture is subject to article 12. The only legal documents it seems to apply to are "laws and ordinances" (법령), "decisions" (결정) and "directives" (지시) (summarised as "state management documents" / 국가관리문건) and this looks like some other kind of legal document. The words "such as" in the English translation are, I believe, not entirely correctly translated from the original Korean, which uses the word wikt:같은. See also wikt:같다 for the dictionary form of the verb where more information is available. --Stefan2 (talk) 12:58, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- I tagged this as "no licence" and "no permission", but then I looked at the history: the uploader has been removing deletion tags several times. Thus, I am additionally reporting it to PUF so that this file isn't forgotten if the tags are deleted again. This file has no copyright notice and the uploader wrote something which suggests that it is unfree: "It came from Theme Park Insider.
