This user gets around. They claim to own the copyright for the logo for the Juan Valdez Cafe, a multinational chain of coffee houses. Image:Evelio Rosero.jpg is probably a promo photo for this guy - it's used on a number of websites from searching google, for example, [1]. This blog entry dated May 2007 has Image:Fernando Vallejo.jpg, which was uploaded to Wikipedia in 2008. This user is obviously just uploading photos from the internet. --B (talk) 04:35, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title card from a TV series. I doubt it is in the public domain. J Milburn (talk) 11:58, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Scan from American Stedman's Herritage Medical Dictionary. Amazon says it was published in 1995, meaning it's obviously copyrighted. Unless this comes from a PD, it's copyrighted. (Even if it does, it's useless) B (talk) 14:28, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tagged as PD because the author has been dead for 100 years. Who was the author? The article that uses this image says "around 1900", so that gave the author around 9 years to die after snapping this photo. It is likely PD having been published before 1923, but we need a source to verify that. B (talk) 14:31, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User name differs from that claimed by the uploader, also the image contains a watermark. Parrot of Doom (talk) 19:34, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly an older image, web resolution. I doubt the uploader owns the rights to this picture. J Milburn (talk) 19:48, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This image is a promotional image whose rights are likely owned (and still owned) by YG Entertainment. Also note the lack of camera data at the bottom. Pandacomics (talk) 23:26, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User indicates this image is from Getty Images, so if that's the case, it obviously isn't GFDL. But the photo quality doesn't look like it was professionally taken. B (talk) 23:57, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
