Wikipedia:WikiProject Hats and headgear[edit]

Inactive for more than a year. Almost all templates deleted. SLSB talk ER 16:49, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Wikipedia:WikiProject Fashion, which is more active, can easily cover the same territory. John Carter 16:51, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - as you say, inactive; brings back memories though. fabiform 20:38, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - per John Carter. --Hirohisat Talk 21:52, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as a now-inactive WikiProject. Acalamari 23:55, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Archive to Wikipedia:WikiProject Fashion. For an example of how to do this, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Middle-earth/WikiProject Silmarillion. Inactive projects can thus be reactivated in the future if anyone feels like taking up the challenge. Carcharoth 02:02, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Argument against deletion (striking this out and removing long quote as not strictly relevant here Carcharoth 22:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)) Carcharoth 02:04, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I'm not seeing much evidence that this Project was ever particularly active, or ever got past planning stages. Can you help me with this Carcharoth? As such, I'm torn between supporting deletion (if never constructively active) and archiving. --kingboyk 22:00, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This probably isn't a great start at a project, but maybe ask Wikipedia:WikiProject Fashion if they want to cannabalize any ideas before getting rid of it. Striking out my argument against deletion and keeping the archive comment. Carcharoth 22:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And I had a closer look. Military headgear and crowns and other ceremonial headgear probably aren't covered by a fashion WikiProject, so WP:MILHIST and WP:BROY seem relevant there. Maybe find out if those WikiProjects are happy to look after headgear-related items, and then get rid of this inactive project? Carcharoth 23:07, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
