This RfA was created by an inexperienced nominator. I think that this RfA should be deleted because it would almost certainly be a WP:NOTNOW. If Jwale2 agrees with deletion, then the RfA may be deleted under WP:G7. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 15:23, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    @Jwale2: Creating a RFA page alone doesn't make anyone an administrator. There will need to be a !vote by the Wikipedia community. If you want to nominate him for adminship, you should first take his permission. Whether or not Joris Darlington Quarshire wants to run in a RFA is their choice, because it is them who'll have to answer the community's questions and actually do admin jobs if !voted in. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 08:05, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    Hello @Mellohi!, I am going to accept the nomination for this adminship but I need to get some details in line first which I am trying to balance my schedule very well with managing the technical community in Africa.In other to accept the nomination.Firstly, i need to work on some maintainance tasks on wikipedia and some few other requirements inline before accepting this nomination. That is why I haven't accepted this nomination at the moment. Which is going to take some few months. If this RFA request cannot be opened for a few months until i accept this nomination and you want to delete this page. Then I am okay with it. In my opinion, the best way to understand what the community expectations of an administrator are, and what it takes to pass a RFA is via taking part, reading and analysing the recent RFAs of other editors.
