Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Featured topics/Greatest Hits: My Prerogative

The result of the discussion was delete, essentially as G6 housekeeping. These pages should only be created when a good or featured topic is promoted at WP:FTC; the nomination in 2011 was unsuccessful and there has been no subsequent nomination. The talk page of this deleted page was entirely inaccurate when it claimed to the contrary. BencherliteTalk 09:11, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Created without a nomination. This was previously nominated and not promoted last year. Statυs (talk) 21:58, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Inquiry - I'm going to plead ignorance on the "featured topics" program (in fact, this is the first I've ever heard of it). What policy or procedure was not followed when this WP: namespace page was created? Is their a history of this, a precedent we can point to? Having served at MFD for quite a while now, this is the first of this particular thing I've ever seen. Achowat (talk) 13:03, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete until it is shown that this topic is or was indeed featured (a successful nomination at WP:FTC will suffice). MER-C 07:43, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
