Wikipedia:Deletion of newly created pages[edit]

Wikipedia:Deletion of newly created pages (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Should be deleted since it is dependent on {{New page}} which was redirected to {{Under construction}} in September 2017 after discussion, and the current deletion process for new pages isn't the one listed on the page. PorkchopGMX2 (talk) 16:03, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete a not very good idea that has been superseded by events. Legacypac (talk) 16:07, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - it's an historical record of a failed proposal and marked as such. There is no need to delete this. -- Whpq (talk) 16:58, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as a failed proposal, for the record. Robert McClenon (talk) 19:55, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. we keep failed proposals as a guide, because they ntend to be perennnials. DGG ( talk ) 23:39, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep We don't delete failed proposals, we don't delete bad ideas, doing so would doom future editors to repeat the same mistakes. Records are important. Failed proposals if offensive can be blanked, but this is not offensive. I do must on whether all failed proposals should be renamed with a "(fail proposal)" suffix, rename this to Wikipedia:Deletion of newly created pages (failed proposal), given how easily people try to impress others with bluelinks, and to clearly distinguish failed proposals from essays elaborating on minority opinions. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 01:27, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I'm all for deleting crap but I'm also for keeping historical items such as this, This was created 10 years ago and since then this website has come a long way. Easy keep for me. –Davey2010Talk 18:49, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
