User:WIKIVUE Detroit/Nielsen DMAs & Major TV Stations[edit]

Similar to previously deleted subpages from this user, inappropriate use of userspace as blog / personal webspace. No practical purpose with regard to building the encyclopedia. Deiz talk 12:07, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would like it to stay... Again, as I mentioned, I know other people are doing it too!!! Plus, in this case, I have seen other users create such pages!!! It's just not fair!!! It's a public internet, we should be allowed to do whatever we want as long as we're not hurting anyone or breaking the law!!! Do you think!?!? Wikipedia is not a "public internet", it's an encyclopedia. There are plenty of places where you can create and store personal pages about your hobbies and interests. You're fully aware of this after similar pages in your userspace were deleted. Deiz talk 03:29, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What the heck does "public internet" mean?--WaltCip (talk) 03:42, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm guessing the user believes it's analogous with "Myspace". Deiz talk 03:57, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - If he does mean that, he's clearly wrong. I suggest the editor in question review the core policies of wikipedia, including WP:NOT. Would consider keeping if page were revised substantially into a sandbox for the development of related content, but I get the impression that this content is already effectively in mainspace. • Delete The information here could possibly be added to the relevant articles (about TV stations), but I don't think it's relevant. Whatever the case, it's not what we want. This, that and the other [talk] 09:58, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
