Very funny, but has nothing whatsoever to do with Wikipedia. -- Majorly talk 02:20, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Note: User:B added an extremely brief mention of Wikipedia which obviously changes the state of my nomination. But it's still barely relevant to Wikipedia, and it was last worked on well over a year ago (minus 2 minor edits). Majorly talk 02:41, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's in my user space, so what? — Rlevse • Talk • 02:30, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- This is not a free webhost. Majorly talk 02:32, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep Humorous and no harm to anyone (except possibly a son-in-law candidate?) Experienced and respected editor. Not spam. Not commerical. In fact not against any known WP rule. The nom's argument basically can be used for just about everything in userspace, hence fails on that ground alone. Collect (talk) 02:40, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- It breaks WP:NOT as in Not a webhost. An experienced an respected editor should know better than to have this kind of thing in userspace. It belongs elsewhere, not here. Majorly talk 02:43, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Weak delete Harmless, but Wikipedia is not a webhost. "Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy)" might be of interest to you though. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 02:41, 16 January 2009 (UTC)Keep per changes. Now marginally related and certainly harmless enough. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 04:03, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's wiki related now. Check it out. 68.10.123.98 (talk) 02:54, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep Rather harmless and insignificant, I don't see this as an excessive overuse of space. MBisanz talk 03:25, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Personally, I really don't care (I just have Rlevse's talk page watchlisted and saw this), but will we also be deleting User:Majorly/Removed stuff? --B (talk) 03:28, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- That's removed vandalism from my userpage. Feel free to nominate it, but it's not on the same level as this. Majorly talk 03:29, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep, perfectly acceptable humorous userspace subpage that comments on WP and related topics; B's edit makes for a nice Wikipedia connection...albeit a humorous one... :) I think there are more pressing issues on Wikipedia to worry about, eh? Dreadstar † 03:55, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep: Humorous, does no harm, is not disruptive. Is not in conflict with the list of what should not be on a user page. And, in fact the guidelines indicated "wide latitude" for "regular participants". Rlevse is certainly a regular participant in good standing. — ERcheck (talk) 04:09, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep: Big fan of user/talk space used liberally. Law shoot! 05:40, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep Nom needs to see question #5.
App could use some further formatting.Cheers, Jack Merridew 12:30, 16 January 2009 (UTC)- Now improved — XfD, prompting improvements for years. Cheers, Jack Merridew 09:05, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Without even looking... if this were from a user with few or no other contribs, this would be a delete. But we give latitude to those with a large number of contributions, and so the evaluation is on "is this harmful or derogatory?", after looking at it. In my judgement it is not, so Keep. ++Lar: t/c 12:53, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep per Dreadstar. FloNight♥♥♥ 21:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep Harmless. Several more important and pressing issues on Wikipedia than something like this.(olive (talk) 23:39, 16 January 2009 (UTC))
- It seems odd to me that you'd take yourself away from those apparently much more important issues just to vote on this, saying there are more important issues... if they were so important, you'd be working on them, not voting here. And harmless isn't a reason to keep I'm afraid. WP:NOT is a reason to delete though. Majorly talk 03:57, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Pot meet kettle. — Rlevse • Talk • 03:59, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Pardon me? Majorly talk 04:07, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- mebbe a bigger fish? Cheers, Jack Merridew 04:12, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- It took me a moment to comment here and to state an opinion, but hours to sift through the cases I've been commenting on to try to make sense of what is going on and to comment as fairly as I could. Even here someone has to be nasty. Why is that? And how sad and wearing that is.(olive (talk) 22:59, 17 January 2009 (UTC))

- Delete Harmless but inappropriate. No newcomer would be permitted this. Or is WP not a web site, except for the regulars? DGG (talk) 03:54, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep, acceptable humor for userspace. Even if "No newcomer would be permitted this", per WP:USER: "The Wikipedia community is generally tolerant and offers fairly wide latitude in applying these guidelines to regular participants." - Undecided due to possible copyright claim by some unknown person. This is a variant of a joke application which has circulated on the Internet for years. (See [1] and [2] for two variations.) --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:33, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- No copyvio found after searching -- it likely dates to ancient Egypt (some jokes have indded been traced that far) Collect (talk) 14:40, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Keep. Unharmful humor on experienced user's page. --Anna Lincoln (talk) 11:12, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
