User:Rick Mullins[edit]

This user hasn't made any actual edits outside of their userpage. Furthermore, it appears that this page is being used to circumvent the deletion of Rick mullins. Delete Yanksox 16:38, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per Yanksox and my comment above. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 13:59, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep for the time being. Feel free to prod this page in a month or two's time if this problem isn't fixed. MER-C 05:27, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete seems to be an attack almost. James086Talk | Contribs 13:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Attack on whom? Page seems to have been primarily drafted by the subject. Newyorkbrad 23:32, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose so, but read the history section. It sounds (to me) like one of his students doesn't like him, so created the article then userpage as a way of insulting him. James086Talk | Contribs 11:06, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, looks like you're right about that. Delete. Newyorkbrad 23:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per mer-c Eriqwerty123 16:29, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - while the account was only created Dec 1st and I normally like to give new users a chance, I have to agree with James' comments about an attack page. This page falls foul of the WP:BLP policy. Could an admin check the history on the deleted Rick mullins article to see who it was written by? Perhaps there is a sock issue with the user named Rick Mullins and the author of the deleted page.--Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 19:45, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • It was written by a different user that uploaded the images for the page we are seeing now.[1] Yanksox 23:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep This is NOT an attack, please tell what you think is, I can take care of it. User:Rick Mullins 8 December 2006
    • Errr, "He later married to his dear wife, who he unfortunately treats very cruely, by keeping her in the trunk of his car. On days where the XC team does not perform to his liking, she is denied food, forced to cook him apple cranberry cake, and whipped." Un-huh. Yanksox 22:59, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That is a joke, that is not meant to be serious, you can tell by how it's said. It's not meant to be offending. I've put alot of time into this, I don't see why you are discussing deleting a user page. Keep it. User:Rick Mullins 8 December 2006
If you are really the subject (but we have no way to know that), I don't feel strongly about this (though our family may :) ) ... but userspace is primarily for the use of people who are writing articles too. You obviously have good knowledge about your sport: would you care to contribute? Newyorkbrad 01:45, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ja. If the user could put as much effort into improving WIkipedia as his user page . . . . Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 01:38, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Per nom. It reads awfully like an attack page per points raised by Dgies plus I checked and found it's a copy of the Rick mullins deleted article twice speedy deleted.--Dakota 01:50, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Re-read what I said. I said it may not be an attack page. --Dgies 01:32, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - attack pages like this are neither needed nor wanted. Moreschi 11:24, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Page creator claims it is not an attack page, just self-deprecating humor. This is a case where Wikipedia:Attack_page doesn't seem to apply. --Dgies 01:32, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
