User:Phbasketball6/Films[edit]

Doesn't help build the encyclopedia, just a list of films he wants to see, or recommends. Wikipedia isn't a free webhost or myspace. Delete Jbeach sup 19:04, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Seeing that this user has been here for about a year and seems to be very beneficial to the topics he edits, I would hesitate to delete any of his subpages without first bringing the situation to his attention and seeing if he remedies the matter himself. I would suggest to initiate discussion on his talk page letting him know he is violating the spirit of the project and ask him to speedy the page himself. If he fails to respect the request, then I would re-nominate. He also has quite a few other subpages this applies to:

I don't understand why stuff under MY name has to be deleted? Is it really bothering you or something? It is wrong to go on other peoples user page and nominate for it to be deleted. --Phbasketball6 22:02, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh and by the way it does help wikipedia because when I go to my Best NFL players, I like to fix the infobox or an error for the football player. --Phbasketball6 22:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the first sentence of the Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion article it states that is for a problematic page. How is my pages problematic? --Phbasketball6 22:56, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The issue is that wikipedia isn't a free webhost, if it was another person userspace, it would have been MFD as well. The two main ones I'm worried about is the video games, and movies one as that doesn't seem to help build the encyclopedia. I don't really care about the rest. Jbeach sup 23:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can I still have my favorite actors, directors, films, and comedians? I will get rid of movies to watch and movies to buy on DVD and upcoming movies tonight. Thanks --Phbasketball6 23:26, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - organized link farms can be useful for editorial purposes. If Phbasketball6 has found them it shouldn't really matter whether they happen to serve some additional purpose as well. — xDanielx T/C 04:01, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I can see how this stuff can help with article creation, and it's not really too much personal info in userspace. I like to give a little more leeway to active editors. And some props to the user in question for realizing some of the pages are inappropriate and having them U1's. --UsaSatsui 17:30, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong Keep per above. Greswik 16:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
