The result of the discussion was Delete all pages related to this. The user who created these pages started moving them all around to try and avoid deletion. It seems obvious they were trying to "outrun" the deletion discussion despite my attempt [1] to explain to them that it doesn't work like that. In an effort to end this silly shell game, I went ahead and deleted all the pages. I realize it's unusual for the nominating user to turn around and delete the items in question, but in this case I feel it was warranted. If there are objections to this course of action you may request a deletion review. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:39, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can't even tell exactly what this is, it may be related to strategy game or just plain goofing around, but it does not appear to have anything at all to do with Wikipedia, violating the idea that Wikipedia is not a free web host. Those who use this page have made the vast majority of their edits to this one page. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:06, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete It appears to be a game called NationStates [2] and has nothing to do with Wikipedia. Also, User:Interchange88/Sandbox needs to be deleted because it is part of their game too. It is a fake article based upon their "nation" called Federal Republic of Geckinators and a lot of the information is pasted from different Wikipedia articles and altered. • Weak Keep I probably can't defend this in policy, but I think someone who has made good faith contributions to WP (over 1000 edits to main space) should get cut a little slack for a game that is partially related to Wikipedia.--SPhilbrickT 15:53, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Generally, we do cut some slack to established user for things that are only marginally related. This is not related in any way, shape, or form to Wikipedia, and the other three users participating in the discussion have made no edits other than to this one page. WP:NOTMYSPACE applies as well as WP:WEBHOST. Beeblebrox (talk) 04:42, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • How is this "partially related to Wikipedia"? Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 08:22, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • The sandbox is written in the form of a WP article, so acts as "practice" for writing real article. It incorporates real elements of WP, which I initially thought of as a tiny positive, but I just realized that the "it links here" feature makes this a net negative, as readers of the actual WP may accidentally end up here. I did say "weak" and my argument is getting weaker - if it does end up as a keep, the editor ought to remove links to real article to avoid confusion.--SPhilbrickT 12:00, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • The sandbox no longer is written in the form of a WP article as the page under discussion here has been redirected to it, apparently in an effort to protect it. --| Uncle Milty | talk | 12:16, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
