The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the miscellaneous page below. Please do not modify it. The result of the discussion was userfied to User:Dr. Chuck/Charles A. Findley. From the explanation below, it seems that Dr Findley has misunderstood advice to develop his autobiographical article in userspace. WP:FAKEARTICLE. I assume this is substantially similar to Charles A. Findley deleted after Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Charles A. Findley. Whpq (talk) 11:48, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that the page in question is a user page, not a main entry. User pages are for autobiographical and personal content, which allow persons who may want to work on other projects to locate me and me locate them as well. Also note that main article for Charles A. Findley existed for many years without question of the content. Since some editors questioned the sources and documentation in the main entry Charles A. Findley was deleted, the entries were and are being documented in my user page. Additionally, another member uploaded relevant material to https://archive.org/details/CollaborativeNetworkedLearningProject-DigitalEquipmentCorporation. If one were to search under name Charles A. Findley (a.k.a.Charles Findley) in ERIC reports as well as citations including Wright and Davie (1999) Forecasting the Future: School Media Programs in an Age of Change (Google eBook), Scarecrow Press, January 1,1999 and Poe (2010) A History of Communications: Media and Society from the Evolution of Speech to the Internet (Google eBook) December, 2010 you will find additional relevant citation. Additionally, you will note that the collaborative networking work has been cited and expanded into manufacturing as cited in the following article in 2013. https://www.waset.org/journals/waset/v68/v68-260.pdf

Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to the discussion. I would suggest that my user page remain so that I can continue to update and document ongoing use of my work. Additionally, I would encourage the editors to allow me to upload the Charles A. Findley and Collaborative Networked Learning pages with the new documentation as main entries rather than user pages.

Please note the following comment in which I wash instructed to move the content of Charles A. Findley to my user page while updating and answering questions regarding sources.

Hi Dr.Chuck. I notice you posted a note on the talk page of an article you created that was recently deleted. I just tagged the talk page with a speedy delete, only because we don't have mainspace talk pages without subject pages. If you are interested in creating the page again, I suggest you develop a version in userspace. Some policies/information to pay extra attention to are WP:WWMPD, WP:COI and WP:NOTABILITY. Once you think your article is well constructed, well sourced, and belongs in mainspace, feel free to ask the opinion of myself or any of the editors, perhaps at the Notability Noticeboard.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Regards. jheiv talk contribs 05:13, 12 March 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. Chuck (talkcontribs)

Thank you for your consideration
