Existing of this unofficial template is in question while it has been used in several images like File:Tour nagsh-e-rostam kabe zartosht iran.jpg and File:RQ-170_in_Iran.png‎ and probable more images that I've not seen yet. ●Mehran Debate● 06:48, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And also I found these:

  • Keep Used occassionally as a basis for other templates/work. Buffs (talk) 15:29, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I am sure you know that the image tags must be in Template namespace (not User namespace). ●Mehran Debate● 18:29, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep nothing wrong with having a template like this in userspace, as long as it's not used as a template elsewhere. Ego White Tray (talk) 04:50, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • You're right, but the problem is that is had been used as a template in the above images which were deleted because of copyright violation after several years just because of a misleading tag. ●Mehran Debate● 05:20, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well, if someone insists on using it, give them a warning, then give them a block. Ego White Tray (talk) 05:25, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Those templates were added by me. While the templates were accurate, it was decided that the images (despite being free of copyright almost everywhere in the world) were still not free enough. They weren't mistakenly added, but we decided via consensus to treat those images as if they were copyrighted. So, while this template is depricated, I can still use it as a basis for other templates. If we need to add a disclaimer, we can. Buffs (talk) 17:27, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I remember the discussion and also I remember there were no consensus at the end. BTW, a tag must be in form of a template (not a user page) to use for images. Then what you did was not admissible in Wikipedia. ●Mehran Debate● 06:39, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep May be somewhat marginally useful to our encyclopedia project as for documentary record of international copyright law sillyness around Wikipedia. Harmless if usage contained into userspace. Was userfied by TfD discussion, MfD is not the best forum to challenge outcomes of other XfD processes. jni (delete)...just not interested 10:30, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Well within reasonable leeway for userspace. Nomination has not made the case that it is being misused repeatedly, or is causing actual problems. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 10:14, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
