The result of the discussion was: withdrawn by nominator. @GoodDay: no prejudice to revisiting the "many" templates you spoke of individually or bundled, if desired. (non-admin closure) — Godsy (TALKCONT) 18:36, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

- Delete - Only because the creating editor, hasn't been around for six years. Therefore, his many templates are figuratively taking up space. GoodDay (talk) 01:36, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Keep This represents a widely held and not particularly controversial view in Russia and a minority view in other former USSR states. Per WP:GLOBAL do not think this is any more controversial than many other political userboxes. Vladimir.copic (talk) 01:47, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Keep. Not sufficiently offensive for MfD deletion. To wind back on the contentious subject of political userboxes, I suggest an RfC. I suggest pre-answering the question: If that statement is allowed in prose on a userpage, why would it not be allowed formatted into a userbox? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:04, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, I guess a multi-state union, albeit one with a rather dubious history, is not the same as an empire that functionally claims ownership of other nations. The Soviet Union wasn’t exactly what I’d call “great” but it wasn’t purely extremist for its entire existence (like Democratic Kampuchea or the Confederate States of America) I’m withdrawing my nomination.
