This page clearly meets WP:CSD#G8, under "talk pages with no corresponding subject page" (given that redirect talk pages are not listed as exempt), but the request was turned down 3 times in a row. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 03:11, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- Keep – – "No corresponding subject page" means "The subject page doesn't exist at all", not "the subject page is a redirect". Graham87 07:15, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- I was referring to the word "subject" in "subject page". Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 07:19, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- Would a dash help? Read: "subject-page" ;) -- Ϫ 09:51, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- No, because it means the same thing. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 10:02, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

- Comment - I haven't found any specific policy/guidline on speedy deletion of talk pages of redirects, but Criteria for speedy deletion/Archive 31#Talk pages notes: "Talk pages of redirects aren't worthy of deletion. We have a WikiProject Redirect that tags pages like Talk:METALLICA, many talk pages of redirects have an
{{oldafdfull}}
notice or some other discussion preceding a merge that should be kept. Blanked talk pages can just as well be kept, or often be tagged with a wikiproject banner anyway." Other discussions are at Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion/Archive 30#Empty talk pages and speedy deletion, Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion/Archive 23#Housekeeping for talk page redirects, etc.. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 10:27, 13 November 2012 (UTC)- The last two wikilinks you provided seem to be leaning towards deletion, and even the first one isn't quite WP:CON. Dogmaticeclectic (talk) 10:53, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- Keep, the redirect is not "a non-existent or deleted page", Talk pages of redirects are used for discussing those redirects. -- JHunterJ (talk) 11:37, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. No valid reason for deletion given. Redirects can have talk pages. meshach (talk) 05:51, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. A redirect is a useful page on Wikipedia, they're allowed to have talk pages, even if it's just a banner, and in this case all three project banners on the talk page even have "redirect-class" categories. As to the nom's argument that G8 applies here, I believe the 'subject' in "talk pages with no corresponding subject page" can refer to the actual redirect page itself, not necessarily a page containing topical content. -- Ϫ 09:51, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
