Portal:Robotics[edit]

This portal has been effectively abandoned for many years. The restored version has news from 2012 [1] placed there in 2012 after the previous news from 2007 was removed [2] . The selected image is from 2004. It was automated because it was not being maintained, and that was just reverted, which does not resolve the years of disinterest. Robotics is an exciting fast moving field, but you would never know that from this portal. Legacypac (talk) 04:33, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral with the following comments:
- - Level 3, Level 2, Level 4 Vital articles are a nonsensical idea.
  - Portals should be maintained before deciding to keep them.
  - This one was not being maintained.
  - It is hard to say who abandoned this portal. Many inactive editors touched it. One of the first touches was TTH, who is not inactive and has not abandoned it, and so should be considered the maintainer, which is not much of an argument.
