Portal:Lake Van (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Overly narrow scope for a portal per WP:POG. Category:Lake Van contains 11 articles. The portal does include articles on some neighbouring cities in scope but it's still not enough to constitute a broad topic. Hut 8.5 16:11, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete – Yet another narrow-focus portal created recently when creating portals has been fun and too easy. No reason to think that this one is needed. How many lakes of comparable size are there in the United States or the world? (Woops.) Does the completion date in late December 2018 indicate a race against the calendar and a self-imposed quota?
